Understanding the Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God is on earth in God's people. Jesus came to re-establish the kingdom of God over the earth, this rebellious part of God's creation.

The truth is that I am showing whether or not I am in the Kingdom by the way I live.

Matt 13:11-17 a kingdom of parables.
Who can understand? Only those who choose to see. We have to ask to be able to see it. Its’ understanding only comes to those who truly want to know. Its’ wisdom is only seen through the eyes of those in the light. John 3:3 says that we cannot see this Kingdom unless Born Again of His Spirit, V5 We cannot enter unless we are born of water and of the Spirit.
Some just look at it, looking for it from a distance with natural eyes, or intellectually and then there are those who are choosing to enter into it.

I am in the Kingdom if I know the Kingdom is in me. If I am, then I am seeking first this Kingdom of God, this way of God, and its’ righteousness.
Mat 6.33 (Young’s Literal translation) “but seek ye first the reign of God…”

Jesus is only Lord and King if He reigns in our heart.

I have a King ruling from within me, He is the Lord. I am an ambassador of this Kingdom. I promote this way of life, culture, and lifestyle, wherever I go. This is my life in Christ. There can be no Kingdom manifestation without the King ruling in ones life. If there is no king ruling within, then there will be no kingdom. Kingdoms have to have a king ruling to be a kingdom.

Rev 4:11, the 24 elders before God were declaring “we were created for You. We exist only for You, for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven”.

Eph 2:6, I am seated in heavenly places, far above all rule and authority.

By living this in reality I rule with Him from the place of heaven, therefore what is ruling in heaven may rule on earth, for everything that is with Christ in the heavenly realm is able to have a greater authority than anything or anyone on earth. If I am sat with Him in the spiritual realm, I am able to manifest something more on earth than natural things. I am a supernatural being as Christ Himself is, because I am in Him and He in me.

Matt 28 The great commission, “go and make more like you”. An unlimited scope for ministry into the kingdom of this world. A heavenly kingdom against an earthly kingdom ruled by the evil one. A fight of faith for faith and trust in God.

His Word means so much when spoken from one Kingdom into another. His word when spoken declares His rule and Kingdom over the earth and flesh. It is this authority, taken willingly with all its conditions of life, that will manifest and change life. Here demons will flee, here sickness will not stand. A spiritual Kingdom with more than just moral character, it has Holy character, that produces a fruit of righteousness peace and joy. Rom 14:17 Isa 9:6-7 The kingdom of God is upheld by righteousness peace and joy.
2Tim 4:1-2 The kingdom of God flowing out from within will show forth the character of God within us.
Are we just going to look at the Kingdom or talk about the Kingdom, or are we going to allow it to manifest through us? We have to choose to focus upon the ways of the Lord and He will do it. He is the one who will manifest Himself to others through us who choose to enter into responding to His call.

This Kingdom of God is not such a Kingdom that it is able to manifest itself in just a humanistic way. The manifestation will be from individuals living the life of Christ here in the natural realm. It will not manifest as a kingdom outside of those who are born again. It has no power to be activated without it moving through His agent on earth in His people who are born again. It will not be seen in any other way than through His people. Church will not be a manifestation of the kingdom of God unless all who are in it are actually born again of His Spirit. The Kingdom is not a place of earthly character but of a heavenly person who’s name is God the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God is within you.

There are some that would imply the Kingdom of God is the Spirit moving here on earth without it being within His people, as if it is a supernatural power moving and doing things without a body to move in. He certainly moves in His omnipresence and touches peoples lives, but this is His Spirit working the Father’s works on behalf of the people. Where Christ Jesus moves things in the natural realm, He moves through the agent of His chosen ones, His people, who are born again of His Spirit. Of course He can do what He likes. He can manifest Himself in any way He wishes, but the manifestation of the Kingdom of God is shown through His subjects here in the world, yet who are not of it. The Holy Spirit within us is the one who manifests the Kingdom of God through us.

Godliness is not to do with what we abstain from, it is what we choose to enter in to. Godliness is the manifestation of the character of God within, kingdom living rather than churchy living. A religious order of life does not always carry the character of God.

When a body of believers in one place, as one body, allows the Spirit to have complete rule over that gathering, we would more than likely see a manifestation of the Spirit of God through which there could well be a manifestation of the Kingdom of God flowing outward from the people. The influence of this could touch all those who came into contact with that body or entered into the place where the Spirit was having free reign.

Isn’t this what we all long to see? Let us then look into our hearts and unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, that we win the race set before us. That we take our responsibility seriously and manifest the kingdom of God in our lives.
